At that time, there were no other entertainment channels hence the idea of TVF was new and refreshing. Because of the quality content, TVF was successful in gaining huge popularity. People loved their casting, shows, and PR methods. TVF Started as a Youtube channel, and now has its own platform to watch all the shows created by TVF.
Every show by TVF is top-notch in quality and the diversity in scripts is what makes it most entertaining. Today we are going to see the 10 best TVF shows that are worth watching.
1) Panchayat
Panchayat is one of the best Hindi TV shows on Amazon Prime. This was the first show by the TVF team to release on an OTT platform and they used the chance very aptly. ‘Panchayat’ Hindi show became very popular as soon it was released. The casting was so brilliant that the audience truly liked the chemistry between Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav. Jitendra Kumar, one of the star performers from TVF lived every bit of his character as Abhishek Tripathi.
Panchayat show is about an engineer who joins a gram panchayat secretary because of a lack of jobs. While his friends are enjoying the fruits of corporate culture in metro cities, Abhishek is stuck in a village that lacks the basic amenities. He is frustrated about his situation and wants to get out of there as soon as he clears the CAT exam. The story continues along with Abhishek, the village sarpanch, and others.
There are 8 episodes in season 1. Season 2 of Panchayat is going to be released on May 20, 2022, on Amazon Prime.
2) Aspirants
TVF original series Aspirants was a web series streamed on the TVF youtube channel and on TVF play. There were just 5 episodes to this show and each episode was released weekly. The first episode was telecasted on 7 April 2021.
TVF Aspirants is all about cracking UPSC by three friends Abhilash, Guri, and SK. The show jumps between past and present, highlighting their UPSC struggle and the result of it. These three friends went for tuitions in Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi which is known as the Maccah of UPSC tuitions. Aspirants is a beautiful show that stands true to many people who dreamt of becoming IAS officers. Though Naveen Kasturia (Abhilash Sharma), Shivankit Singh Parihar (Gurpreet Singh aka Guri), and Abhilash Thapliyal (Shwet Ketu Jha aka SK) are the main characters of the show, Sunny Hinduja as Sandeep ‘Bhaiya’ has a special role which was loved by the audience.
3) Kota Factory
Kota Factory is another gem of a show by the TVF makers. While the Aspirants showcases the life of UPSC students, Kota Factory highlights the struggles of students who try to get into IIT.
Kota, Rajasthan, an educational hub famous for its coaching centers. The story begins with Vaibhav who just moved to Kota to achieve his IIT dream. He meets new roommates, and friends who become part of his life. Jitendra Kumar aka Jitu Bhaiyya won many hearts as a lecturer in this show. Though they shot it in color, later it was edited in monochrome and released on Youtube channel and TVF Play. Kota Factory was applauded by many because of its realistic approach, monochrome editing, and concept.
After a successful premiere of season 1, season 2 of Kota Factory was released on Netflix on 24 September 2021.
4) Tripling
TVF tripling is written by Akarsh Khurana and Sumeet Vyas. Sumeet Vyas another gem from the TVF team acted as one of the triplings along with Manvi Gagroo and Amol Parashar. This show is about three siblings who start a journey together to explore more about themselves and each other. Many revelations take birth during their trip and they get to know each other more than ever.
The success mantra of TVF tripling was the sibling sentiment. The show was recognized on many platforms including the Asian Television Award. The 5 episodes of the show were premiered weekly on the Youtube channel and TVF play.
5) Yeh Meri Family
Yeh Meri Family is the first TVF’s first show that introduced TVF to OTT platforms. Yes, though Yeh Meri Family was initially released on the TVF Youtube channel and TVF Play, later it was made available on Netflix. With this development TVF officially opened its entry to OTT platforms.
As the title says Yeh Meri Family is all about family sentiments. Not just the family, but Yeh Meri Family bought many nostalgic moments for the 90s generation. The show takes place in 1990 revolving around a cute family consisting of 12-year-old Harshu Gupta, his elder brother Dabbu, younger sister Chitti, mother Poorva Gupta, and father Devendra Gupta. This typical 90s middle-class family shows the life during that era and successfully recreates the family bonding on the screen. This was the first family show created by TVF which lured hearts from its first episode.
There might be a second season of Yeh Meri Family but the date is not announced yet.
6) Permanent Roommates
Permanent Roommates was the first Indian web series. This is the first stepstone of TVF and bought a huge subscription to its Youtube channel. Permanent Roommates made TVF start its own platform ‘TVF play’. When it was released in 2014, it became a favorite show for everyone who watched it. The second season was released on TVF play with a premium subscription.
The lead roles of Permanent roommates are Sumit Vyas and Nidhi Singh. It is about a couple who start living together and start exploring the new phase of their relationship. Permanent Roommates is a romantic comedy series, that entertains you throughout its 7 episodes. Currently, it is available on Zee5 which can be watched with its subscription.
7) Pitchers
TVF pitchers is a show released in 2015, is a story of four friends who quit their job and starts their own start-up company. Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Jitendra Kumar, and Abhay Mahajan are in the lead role. TVF pitchers showcased the realistic facts faced by the corporate world. Since India is the hub of Engineers and the corporate world, Pitchers was instantly famous and earned a huge fan following.
The first episode of Pitchers was ‘Tu Beer Hai’ was one of the catchy lines that took over social media when it was released. The show revolves around four friends speaking about corporate culture, their idea for a startup, financial struggles, the mindset of Indian families, and so on.

8) Cheesecake
Cheesecake is one of the heartwarming series by TVF. Unlike other shows, Cheescake failed to gain popularity. But when it comes to quality and content, TVF never failed hence Cheescake stands as one of the best TVF shows. Jitendra Kumar as Neel, and Akanksha as Sameera are in the lead roles.
Cheesecake is the story of a couple whose life changes when a golden retriever, accidentally enters their home. Their life changes in many ways in fact, in many good ways. Neel doesn’t like this uninvited guest while Sameera starts calling it by a pet name. As days pass by and nobody turns up to adopt Cheescake the couple unknowingly adopts the dog into their lives. 9) Flames
Flames was one of the best TVF shows that has got the highest ratings and positive reviews. This show is dedicated to first love and successfully highlighted butterfly moments that happen at the teen age.
Rajat, a topper student joins Sunshine coaching class and falls in love with the new girl Ishita. They start interacting with each other and before anything happens between them, a bad rumor spreads across the tuition making the two of them separate. Flames is cute to watch and brings all those good old college memories. Season 2 of Flames continued the same story with new developments and twists.

10) Gullak
Along with SonyLiv, TVF created another blockbuster show ‘Gullak’. Another family drama where the story revolves around the Mishra family. The third season of Gullak has been released in April 2022 and is available on SonyLiv.
Mishra family, comprising Santosh and Shanti Mishra and their sons Anand “Annu” Mishra and Aman Mishra. Little things of Indian middle-class families are the highlights of the show. This family of four will definitely make you emotional.
